What if you could step into the shoes of a key decision-maker in one of the world’s most complex conflicts — and help design a better path to peace in a process mediated by AI?
Register for that opportunity now.
Experience Smartsettle Infinity Facilitated Collaboration in Action
This interactive workshop will place participants in the role of the Tatmadaw (Myanmar Military Junta) in a live peace negotiation simulation powered by Smartsettle Infinity — an advanced eNegotiation and collaboration system designed to help diverse stakeholders reach fair, optimized consensus.
The simulation is based on a simplified but still realistic Single Negotiating Framework (SNF) for Myanmar’s peace process. While the Smartsettle Infinity system will play the other stakeholders, your team will start with default information representing the Tatmadaw’s preferences.
Learn, Contribute, and Be Recognized
To be eligible for a completion certificate your mission is to:
Understand the relationship between collaboration and transformation
Review "The Shared Rice Field" analogy
Research one or more key issues described in the SNF and the workshop materials
Improve Tatmadaw’s “preference representation” for each researched issue
Specify both the order of preference for available options and the relative value assigned to each option for your chosen issues
Submit your report before Sept 27
Participate with your findings at the workshop
Your participation will give you hands-on experience with conflict analysis and stakeholder modeling. You will learn how confidential preference entry changes the negotiation dynamic and see novel ways to integrate political realities, human needs, and long-term transformation into an agreement.
Attend In-Person or Virtually
Whether you join us on site or from anywhere in the world via Zoom, you’ll be part of an active, collaborative effort to model peace in Myanmar — and learn skills that apply to many other conflict and negotiation contexts.
